Privacy policy.
QP List is an editorial site. We collect only what is necessary to review applications, respond to readers, and deliver the newsletter. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and we do not use tracking pixels across the web.

What we collect
Two inputs exist on QP List that collect information:
- The application form (qplist.com/apply). Collects name, email address, a short self-described background, an optional role category, and optionally the name of the person who introduced you. We collect the IP address and user-agent header of the submission for abuse prevention.
- The newsletter subscribe form. Collects an email address and the IP address of the submission.
What we do not collect
- No passwords. QP List has no user accounts or login.
- No phone numbers.
- No payment, credit-card, or banking information. QP List charges nothing.
- No social-security, tax-ID, or government-identification numbers.
- No health information.
- No tracking pixels, remarketing cookies, or third-party ad tags.
How we use what we collect
Application submissions are reviewed editorially and used to decide whether to send a reply and grant access to the private layer. Newsletter emails are used to send new signals — generally monthly — and nothing else. We do not send marketing from third parties.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in Cloudflare KV, a key-value store operated by Cloudflare on our behalf. Cloudflare also provides the hosting, DNS, and edge network for QP List. Cloudflare’s privacy practices apply to that processing. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Retention
Application submissions are retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up on pending applications and answer questions about prior correspondence. Newsletter subscriber emails are retained until the subscriber unsubscribes.
Analytics
QP List uses privacy-focused analytics through Cloudflare. These analytics are aggregated and do not set persistent cookies or identify individual readers. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party tracking.
Cookies
QP List uses one piece of browser-side storage: a localStorage key called qplist.hub that remembers which jurisdiction you last selected, so the site can open to that hub next time. It is not a cookie, it is not transmitted to the server, and clearing your site data removes it.
Your choices
- Withdraw your application, correct your record, or be forgotten. Email us from the address you used to apply and ask. We will remove or correct the record.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Request what we have on you. Email us and we will send a copy of what is stored.
